Mr Kraus is Chairman of the Board and CEO of Blue Wolf Mongolia Holdings Corp., a NASDAQ listed company. He is also the Founder and Managing Partner of Composite Capital LLC, a financial advisory and investment management firm, and a board member of Duraseal Holding S.r.l., a nanotechnology-based coatings company focused on the oil and gas tubulars sector. He previously served as a Managing Director of Dresdner Kleinwort, heading up its natural resources group from 2005 to 2007. Between 2000 and 2004, Mr Kraus was a Director and Executive Vice President of an enterprise software company. From 1991 to 2000, he was employed by Lazard Freres & Co., LLC, where he was a Managing Director concentrating on natural resources and served on the board of Lazard Moscow. He has also served as Vice President in the investment banking group at Morgan Stanley, focusing on the oil and gas, mining, and chemical industries, and was an engineer at Schlumberger Ltd.
